What is BB Pesta?
BB Pesta — derived from the Malay word for "festival" — is the flagship National Camp and Convention of The Boys' Brigade in Malaysia. Originally held in 1966 as the National Review and Display, it has grown into one of the most anticipated youth events in the region, bringing together BB members from across Malaysia and around the world.
Since 1966, Pesta has been held 25 times across Malaysia — from Kuala Lumpur to Kuching, Penang to Johor Bahru. Penang itself has hosted the event four times, including the Golden Jubilee Pesta in 1996.
Pesta brings BB members together for competitions, character building, faith strengthening, and cross-cultural fellowship. It is a place where lifelong friendships are forged and young leaders are shaped.
BB Pesta draws international participants from Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Australia, the Philippines, and beyond. Pesta 2026 is expected to welcome between 1,500 and 2,000 campers from across the globe.
The Boys' Brigade was first introduced to Malaya in 1946 in Penang, when Mr. Robert Davis and Mr. Geh Hun Kheng founded the 1st Penang Company. BB Pesta 2026 returns to where it all began — celebrating 80 years of BB heritage in Malaysia.

Pesta 2024 · Kuching Sarawak
Hear directly from campers of the 25th BB Pesta held in Kuching, Sarawak — 16–21 September 2024.
BB Pesta brings me back down memory lane. I once missed the opportunity in my Senior section, but in 2024 BB Pesta (Sarawak), I was able to share this experience with my eldest son, who is also a BB member now. Seeing a thousand youths glorifying God at the rally fills me with deep joy and hope that the next generation will grow into purposeful futures, just as I have. We serve a faithful God.
It's making friends, because I never go out of my own country and making friends. Malaysian people, they are so cool. BB Pesta has been really, really fun.
这几天的 Pesta，我的收获是懂了一些品格，例如团队精神、纪律以及言行举止，还有讲话语气可能要稍微变好。好玩，2026年的 Pesta 我等你来。
最大的感受就是我难得有机会可以来到 Sarawak 这个地方，就借由这个 Pesta，所以我才来到这里，要不然的话，应该很少机会可以来这里。Pesta 很棒玩，我们2026年槟城见。
Biggest takeaway is building new friendship with other people, especially with my own squad members, and also meeting new people, because it has been my biggest anxiety, and I feel like I can gain confidence from that. Pesta is actually really fun. It's my first Pesta — you should come to Pesta.
It's quite enjoyable, tiring, because I had to take care of my boys. But overall, it is very memorable, since it's my first Pesta also. So I enjoy it, and I loved it. It's really fun, and it's really worth it. Worth every penny of your money. Please come.

BB Pesta is The Boys' Brigade's flagship international camp. Held every two years, it brings members together for five days of competition, character building, and fellowship. Pesta 2026 will be hosted in Penang — the birthplace of the BB in Southeast Asia.
BB Pesta is open to all Boys' Brigade members, officers, alumni, and volunteers from participating countries. Registration is typically managed through your national BB organisation or local company. Both Malaysian and international contingents are welcome.
BB Pesta 2026 will be held from 28 December 2026 to 1 January 2027 in Penang, Malaysia. The specific venue will be announced closer to the event date.
Individual Early Bird registration is available at RM 380 (Local) / USD 150 (International) until 31 July 2026.
Individual Normal Rate is RM 450 / USD 200 until 30 Sept 2026.
'En Bloc' group rates are offered (min 5 pax in multiples of 5, locals only) at RM 350/pax until 30 June 2026, increasing to RM 380/pax until 31 July 2026 and RM 450/pax until 30 Sept 2026.
A deposit of RM 50 is required now to secure your spot, with the remaining balance due upon the submission of your name list via the BBMS. En Bloc limited to 1,000 pax or 30 June 2026, whichever comes first.
Pesta 2026 features national competitions — including Singing, Dancing, Drill, Band, Bible Quiz, and a brand-new Bagpipe Competition — alongside STEM programmes, character-building sessions, and exploration of Penang's UNESCO World Heritage sites and famous local cuisine.
